Dear Male Population,
A suit and tie does not make you invisible. On that note, neither does not having your wife with you, especially when a female is walking toward a building as you exit and consequently turn around to catch a glimpse of whatever fancies your inherent male testosterone driven desire. Even more so when you encourage your friends to do the same.
In case you failed to notice, glass is reflective...I COULD SEE YOU. It was not smooth, and NO you wern't being sneaky. Nice try.
Sincerely,
Jenni

While I have no doubt that it's annoying (too many women complain about it to believe otherwise) we really can't help it. When a flashy car drives by, we look. When a cute girl walks by, we look.
And women do it too. You can't tell me that there hasn't been a time where something (or someone) caught your eye and you took a second look.
ditto what blackjack said.
i'm sure it's annoying to you, but honestly, can you say that you didn't take it as a compliment, even a little? just by walking by, you made a guy stop and notice you. now, you're either really hot, or you tucked your skirt into your pantyhose.
Maybe you had toilet paper on your shoe or a stain on your pants...
It takes a while for the images to process in our mind so we need to look longer to get the image.
=0)
Mikey and Blackjack: Yeah, it's all about tact. I agree in the sometimes looking twice thing, but there's a way to do it without making an ass of yourself.
Sunfish: There was no stain and no TP. I checked.
GQ: Good call.
tact is a waste of time. people stare at me all the time for quite different reasons. i actually prefer it. gives me a chance to catch them staring and that is a great feeling, when you know they are kicking themselves for getting "caught". still, i'll never apologize for doing the same. it's one of the best compliments i can give someone i probably won't see again
I don't have anything to say about this post in particular. Just wanted to say I came across your blog a while ago and each time I come back I find it both entertaining and interesting...
By the way, Jenni, I thought this was hilarious when I read it. It sounds like one of those stupid situations I would get into and then to try and hide. Though, reflective glass...I don't know. Haha! Typical guy, I guess. :P
you could have just thrown them the bird back in the glass.
