29 going on 90...

Aqua Cardio
A cardiovascular conditioning class in the pool. The water provides an atmosphere for training, which eliminates the impact on the joints. (Multi Level)

I hurt my knee which has decided to fill with fluid therefore temporarily banishing me from my normal cardio workout. I went to my gym's website to try and find a class that will allow me to keep some range of motion, but will be easier on my knee. I saw they offer a class in "Aqua Cardio." I clicked on the link and the above photo and description came up. I'm serious.

Shit, they may as well have my walker and a Darts bus ready to take me back to The Home when I'm finished with my workout.

HA HA HA. You are SO OLD.

If you want, you can come over and play "chase Mickey around the bathtub", it's quite a water-based workout.

Those ladies in the picture are having WAY too much fun... I think maybe there's more to "aqua cardio" than meets the eye? Those ladies might be swimming a little too close to the jets, if you know what I mean, AND I THINK YOU DO.

does the knee hurt much? left-side, right-side or towards the back of the knee? any clicking/popping noises?
i had a bad knee injury last year. instead of surgery, i rehabbed it on my own. took about six months to heal, and the clicking noise (due to scar tissue) went away after nine months. to rehab, i took up yoga and once healed, advanced stretching exercises. the knee is much stronger than before; i highly recommend basic yoga and pilates.
also, don't post any more pictures of my grandmother and/or her friend selma. they are very private people and would be upset if they knew a photo of them from last year's "Senior FemFriendCon" was floating around online.
